JOB SUMMARY

The Shift Lead is trained to perform all of the duties performed by the team at the Shift, with additional responsibility for directing the daily operations of a store in case of the General Manager’s absence, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including sales, returns and pick up, delivery, customer relations, maintenance, team management, financial accountability, and other duties as required or assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads the budtender and directs all daily operations of the store as supervising and training employees, opening and closing the store, ensuring all displays are out, managing employee breaks, and completing shift summary reports.
• Motivates and coaches the team on the daily special and meeting monthly incentive
• Works as a team player to support other employees in completing their tasks.
• May assist General Manager in day-to-day operations with tasks including scheduling, ordering, and team development and applying strategy to increase sales.
• Ensures that compliance, safety, and security policies are followed.
• Maintains fast, accurate and outstanding service, ensures an excellent customer experience, and ensures all products are consistent with company standards.
• Report to the general manager at the end of the shift with sales, and promotion.
• Close the register and place the report and the money in the safe

• 8 hour shift
• Typical start time: 8:30am
• Typical end time: 10pm
• Weekends, night, and day shifts possible

OPEN TO

• Applicants who have a high school diploma/GED
• Experience in retail management
• Cannabis experience preferred
